My Heart Poem by Emmanuel Arunee Mwanza

My Heart

Don't ask me, my heart
Just beat
Don't cry, my heart
Just beat
Don't stop wishing though
Like you shouldn't stop beating
At least as long as you can go my heart keep going
Just beat, don't be afraid
Don't you worry, my heart
Just beat
Don't be afraid, my heart
Just beat, for us to live
If need be
I will let you not just to beat but to pound
Because there will be those moments in life
The best and worst moments
Coupled with the best and worst feelings
When you will need to work even harder for my sake
So just pound as much as you can, my heart
