My Father Poem by majed hamdan

My Father

The wisest man I knew ever
He was very tough and always with angry temper
Something that I kept asking myself and never find an answer
He was there to solve every matter
My world rotate around him because he was the center
He was a man of few words that I still remember
Always saying son shoot for the stars and never surrender
When I went through a lot of problems and suffer
He never seems to bother
Sometimes I felt he almost didn't care but after
I realized he wanted me to learn a lesson and gain more power
He kept his eyes watching over me like a protector
Waking up early he never cared what was the weather
Just to show me that excellence must be my only behavior
I always had a big ego and didn't care else than to be a winner
But he taught me to be kind and care about others
Life is not about just winning but seeing the happiness in the eyes of others is the real treasure
Climbing the hills of life is not a easy job but keep trying you will never know when your destiny will change over
And the chance that you have been waiting for will crossover
Many people will hate your success and try to keep you down however
That will not effect you because I am sure you will stand strong forever
