My Daughter Khumbo Poem by Innantia Magcanya

My Daughter Khumbo

Beneath the sky, where stories unfold,
Khumbo, my compass, in your grip, I hold.
Your existence, a melody in life's song,
Rescuing me when everything seemed wrong.

Through storms and shadows, side by side,
We navigated the lows, found strength to abide.
In your giggles, a remedy for strife,
You, my dear, are the rhythm of my life.

Your presence saved me, a beacon so bright,
Guiding us through the darkest of night.
In shared struggles, our bond was refined,
A tapestry woven, intricate and kind.

Every hurdle faced, every mountain we climb,
Is a testament to love, transcending time.
In your dreams, I discover my role,
For you, Khumbo, I live and extol.

Through thick and thin, our spirits align,
In your gaze, a resilience so fine.
You're the reason I face the unknown,
For my daughter, my heartbeat, my own.

So here's to us, in this dance we weave,
An unbreakable bond that hardships can't cleave.
In your laughter, my purpose unfurls,
For Khumbo, my darling, you're my world.
