Musing On The Unknown Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Musing On The Unknown

Musing On The Unknown

Now there's only me musing alone,
adapting the highways,

There's always these similar
fathers, the sad old grandmother's ghost,
in the ways thatthe worlds frowns,

Frowning histories of old wrinkles
and old wounds and the helpless biographers watching,
To sits and stares, musing
at all the warring factions of the species,

Stairs with their long illnessesand fatigues,
flights to exhaustions
in the highways of mortalities,

And nights they are surrendering
to their inevitableness
andresentful deaths,

Which I deemed will be peaceful
and noblesse at last,
For all of us involved,

By that time,
I will have forgiven you and myself
for sleeping alone in this meadows
and musing on the unknown.
