Mitch Poem by Randy McClave

Mitch

On this barren ground my brother is laid
At which today I have prayed,
6 feet he is buried underneath the ground
But, that is not where his soul is found.
True his body is laying forever still
On the side of the flowers on the burial hill
But, his soul in death was quickly released
His body, but not his soul is forever deceased.
They say that he is now on his final rest
I say not, death had just began his quest
In heaven he is loved and also adored
As he is worshiping our savior and our Lord.
