Miss You Mama Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Miss You Mama

Rating: 5.0

She cared like no one
And no one ever loved like her
Each passing day brings the pain
Created by her void

The emptiness weigh tonnes
The sadness like a brick in my heart
And I see her wherever I look
Yet she is very far from me

Mother's love is supreme
Cannot be equated with another
Wish I could bring her back
Though impossible I know it is

In my spirit I commune with her
My mother like no other
I take solace in her happiness
As she resides in the peace of the spirit.

It is good that/if one can 'take solace [[ 'Comfort in sorrow, misfortune, or distress; consolation' ]] in the real or imagined happiness of 'the departed'! ! ! At least there IS that. bri : ) Well done. 5 ***** stars. : )

IF this poem is a true reflection of YOUR, Kingsley's, feelings day to day, I feel 'sorry' for you...in one way: Pain, Emptiness, & Sadness probably isn't what she wants you to have! !
