Mindblindness Poem by Freeyad Ibrahim

Mindblindness

by Freeyad Ibrahim

If you be true
with yourself and others
among a society that is Corrupt
you are regarded faithless
Untrue.

Always be kind
and make sure no one knows you are kind
Because the good in a decadent society
is an idiot, naive, too.

Since ancient times,
people have only been
punished for telling the truth
If you want to stay with people
share their delusions with them
two is one, one is two.

Some people do not like light
Do not be the light
If you glow sharply
among a blind society
They won't see you
If you don't be alert
they would collide you.

A blind man came out
of his house at night
with a lamp in his hand to light his way
One of them came across him and asked him:
Why do you carry it when it does not benefit you? !
He said: I carry it so that
the sighted people do not shock me! !
Most of them, not a few.

Always carry the lamp of reason
So that the ignorant do not shock you!

They say that scarier than blindness,
is being the only one who can see
that is the unblind you
Quite True
