Mentally dead

If you have remained quiet
as a promising poet
then let the world suffer
you have nothing to offer

if you are after rewards
or awards
or certificates
you wait at the gate

this philosophy is created
and circulated
among the writers
so they run after

it has no relevance
even there is no chance
to find the competition
and think of the human relation

we have tested the ground
and found
writers/poets are not only greedy
but don't care even about the poetry

if you have genuine regard,
then wait for no appreciating words
let people come and read
before you are turning mentally dead
