Boring and mundane defines my life,
Yet so full of stress that tempts me with a knife,
Full of studying and memorizing every damn day,
With no escape, no rest there simply is no way,
What happened to fun and all that is cool?
Oh wait i remember, i am stuck in med school,
I am aging rapidly as nature steals my time,
Sleepless and restless while the rest are doing fine,
Oh med school why are you so damn cruel to me?
Is chronic stress within you a tragedy that is meant to be?
So many exams, so much to memorize and learn,
My brain goes to overload and all my systems start to burn,
I see suicidal students before me, many about to die,
One about to jump off the rooftop in an attempt to fly,
Some students cry so hard till the classroom gets a flood,
Some students try so hard until they start to sweat blood,
In an effort to master as well as understand,
The human body and diseases that mankind cannot stand,
Med school is truly stressful and nasty just as the name
Med school puts laziness and fun to shame
