Lucky One Poem by Casey Renee Kiser / snail viXen

Lucky One

Gather around boys and girls...
here comes the woman

The woman in the wolf suit
The wolf suit with the apron
The apron with icicles
hanging

Hanging like me
from the cliff
The cliff that is unsympathetic
or it would

Let me go

I hear her footsteps
Footsteps balancing cupcakes
Cupcakes sprinkled with insults
i pretend to swallow
