Love Story Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Love Story

Shall I then close this book
That I had waited for so long
Forgo the years that it took
To finally find where I belong?
Shall I then turn my back now
As these pages live to tell
You are the reason here somehow
For coming home, all is well
I touch our dream with a sigh
And all of me goes bravely on
To reach that rainbow in the sky
Fight for this love, head on.
Giving up would be like dying
No purpose left for me to stay
To lose you, there is no more living
No words to read, no words to say.

This was a beautiful read, every line filled with bitter magic, a really great work, may you find another chapter that's more amazing then the last!
