Love's Intimacy Poem by Paul Sebastian

Love's Intimacy

Rating: 5.0

Oh mirror, mirror on the wall
Break open my guarded seal
Pray tell, who am I, after all?
Stripping masks that conceal

Open doors of my gut feelings
See the diamond setting, I am
I’m not an island, slowly dying
Privacy myth is believers’ sham

Let the real me, surface
To know me as I really am
When I’m real, I’m none else
Love me then, for who I am

Love is inner-most sharing
Love is freely communicating
Love is not afraid of real being
Love is knowing me and accepting

Real me is my love gift to you
Giving all of me, completely
To grow our love deep and true
To mesh our love-life intimately

Let’s strive for our souls’ unity
Therein lies blissful happiness
Let trust thrive in our honesty
For love peaks in togetherness
