Silly teen love
That's all they ever say
No need to shame my love for him
It only happens once in a person's life
He says 'I'm yours'
What a line of sap
It's the kind of line you wish to hear
Yet, you yearn for more then that
I love you
Such a bittersweet line
Yes, that calms the heart
Your hand on over my heart
The one who rises above the others
It's sweet to think we may lock hands forever
Yet, they say 'Go on! There are other fish in the sea! '
Not in my sea there isn't
I'm nothing more then a girl in love
I try to hide Him from my world
I know its full of twists and turns
Yes, I see others watching you
Watching my every move, waiting to snatch you away
I fight for our love like you fight for my heart
You send me home with love and a day's full of laughter
I must say you bring my cheecks the delicate light of pink
Yet, you can never tell
I feel every movement of your hands touching my heart
