Love Or Suffering? ! Poem by Ali Rahimi

Love invades you, Love assaults you, Love kidnaps you,
Love entraps you, love ambushes you, love cages you,
You try hard to protect your garrison, by soldiers,
Of logic, brain, reason and wisdom,
Against the seduction of erotic and romantic passion,
The allure, the attraction of infatuation, affection,
Too strong is the yearning, I'm afraid,
Love is the oxygen, or the poison?
But, love orders, love commands, love controls, love manipulates,
Is this love? Is this love that I am feeling? Or
A dereliction of duty? , failure of mind? Lapse of reason?
Empty sentimentality? Or stark sensuality? Lack of sensibility?
Love captures you, handcuffs you, yes you are under love arrest!
In the custody of love,
Love banishes you from the joy of life,
like Lucifer , the Abaddon, the dragon,
Love evaporates you like a cauldron of fire,
It strips you of your senses, divorces your from the right path,
Love is the red herring, distracts and destroys,
Institutions feed hatred and suffering,
They adore pain, pang and agony, and ordeals,
Hearken!
Love is not for stupid colorful wallpapers,
in pink, yellow, green, purple, or crimson,
love is not for foolish pumpkins,
love is not for cheap vegetables,
love is not for screw drivers, hammers, spanners,
love entails suffering, we suffer to love,
or rather love to suffer?
Glorification of the virtue of suffering?
To reach highest station of love?
This obsessed lovers in the past or maybe now:
Can true love be attained only in lovers' death?
But our bodies can separate, can be distant, shall rot,
But our love never departs, never fades away, never dies out,
Bodies tear apart, but souls unite, spirits connect,
Hearts fuse, true feelings blend, become ONE,
I always ask: what's the definitive quality of love?
The essential ingredients of such a miracle?
What's pure love? I ask in wonderment,
Love brings danger, insecurity, doubts, isolation, alienation?
It is the Appolyon, the destroyer, the deceiver,
Tempting us, tantalizing us, victimizing us,
We sacrifice ourselves to save human being,
Is this love? Sacrifice? victimhood?
King of the bottomless pit, queen of the dark deep abyss,
Forest of fear, jungle of darkness,
Love is a burden, heaviness, duty and responsibilities?
The more you love, the heavier you can move,
The further you love, the deeper the wound,
The less you love, the freer you fly?
Can we love more than one ?
Modern practice of sipping a woman,
Drinking another and guzzling the target?
Does this bring love of suffering?
Love or suffering? ……….
