Love Harvest Poem by Paul Sebastian

Love Harvest

Love Harvest
A poem by Paul Sebastian

I forehead-kissed you on first instance
It was soul's spontaneous response
Respecting you with deep reverence
Sealing our souls' bond, love launched

Honesty watered, grew pillared trust
Hearts partnered, we began a journey
Promises anchored, love stood steadfast
We vowed to walk our years in harmony

We ploughed, planted and harvested love
We enjoyed benefits of our creation
We were there for each other, as beloved
Being together were moments of elation

Love drenched we laughed, hurt and cried
Comforted ourselves with hugs and kisses
Under love umbrella, we cared and shared
Made sacred trips, prayed for our wishes

Let love flame engulf and warm our lives
Find restful solace in each other's arms,
Let joyful living be as the Spirit guides
Live not in vain, but be others' gain or balm
