Lonesome Again Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Lonesome Again

Lonesome Again

A soft
And Warm gush
An adrenaline
Rush
That feeling
Of awakening
When life
Of mine
Was trampling

I truly, fell in love!

Lo! And behold
My whole
Heart is sold.
As I walked around
Lost
In the alleyways
Of morbid miseries
I found a reason
To live, to stay on
Little longer
As your presence
Made me stronger

Did I
Ever know
Like a
Migratory
Bird
A gypsy
With his herd
You would
leave me
And go
While
On self
On my soul
I carry
The remnants
Of experiences
Untold

Hollowed out
Spaces
Not replaced
With
Other faces
Again I walk alone.
Since
In search of
Greener pastures
Long back
Now you've
Been gone
