Lonely Star's Cry
A lonely star
sat in the sky
watching life
pass her by
holding the countless wishes
collected through the years
she waits and waits
as hopelessness feeds her fears
On quiet nights when the air is still and dry
you can hear in the distance
that lonely star's hopeless cry
