Mr. Moody was in a serious problem;
It was Evening and his Face was Glum;
Does not ever brood,
But when in a mood,
He cannot live without a bottle of Rum.
What a sad state to be in. Unable to live without rum. This does not bring happiness.
This Limerick which carries humor wisely says about lifestyle at modern society. The time has changed and man has adopted new lifestyle. Mr. Moody in his mood. Wonderful observation is shared...10
You have nicely captured the element of humour ingrained here in these lines. Thanks for your appreciative comments, Pintu ji.
I do not think you'll see a limerick written by me... I do not seem to have the knack and always sound like a hack so I'll just enjoy yours.
You are already a celebrity poet and now you have shown your flair for limericks, too. I hope you would share some more poems in this form. Thanks a lot, Susan.

Great limerick....! There are such 'Moodys' who get brightened up only with a bottle of rum....! Unfortunately once they come to their real 'moods', they will be walking on four legs!
Thanks for your appreciative comments, Valsa ji.I completely agree with your observations about dipsomaniacs.
