Lily Bird Poem by Suresh Kumar EK

Lily Bird

Rating: 5.0

Turned into a lily bird
I love to run on your
Beautiful soft petals

From the warmth of the buds
To the depths of the water
I want to go deeper and deeper

The waves sing a lullaby for us
The fishes below are simmering
Twinkling stars reflected on your face

The cool blue of the moon
The intoxicating smell of amber
At this beautiful lake
She is as sexy as you.

Oh dear come to me quickly
I want to run away and play,
Giving soft kisses on your pollen

But below the moss, Crocodiles
Are hiding in the swamp.
So I'm living in the bushes
Trapped in love my, darling.

Always there are crocodiles hiding in the swamp. And we get trapped in our own storied, lest we get swallowed by the crocodiles. A five star rating for this gem.
