Life 3 - This Too Shall Pass
The sun rises with a mild hue and a soft glow,
Glimmering and playing the hide and seek,
But nay, this game is just for a while,
For the sun shines brighter now
Touching with warmth the cold lives.
But this healing light does not last long,
The ultra violet rays begin to burn and scorch
The very existence, so precious!
But this burning heat too passes,
The trees lift their heads with courage,
The evening glory smiles in serenity,
And gracefully exits into the dark night.
So the days pass and the night follows,
With summer dreams and winter droughts,
The autumn displaying ripe yellow leaves,
Shedding and merging with the brown earth!
But then again, a retreat into the snow,
The white sheet of nature, so cold -
That chills, like an iced candy!
But the ice and the snow melt too,
Into a warm spring of beauty,
That brings back the glittering smile.
So, there's a bright day after a dark night.
A tranquil peace after the storm's turmoil!
So, life is a sea of changes!
What's in the morning is not
What's in the evening!
Just when one begins to contemplate on
Life's swift movements,
Alas! One has run out of time!
This incredible principle of life,
Startling, yet truthful!
