Life
You are the mortal goddess, Oh! Present,
Of the stupendous ocean of immortal time.
Though devoid of power for granting boon
Worshipped dedicatedly and devotedly
Past pilgrimage thy shrine seeking nirvana
Stoop and prostate before thy threshold
Quite unaware of thy barren capabilities
To shelter and cater cherished aspirations
The galloping waves devastate and scatter
The castle you build on the mortal bubbles
A desperate and helpless present regretfully
Guide it to the unknown realms of future afar
Alas! Life thus travels a long way incessantly
Crossing the barriers of births and deaths
From past to present and present to future
Like the waves that carry bubbles mortal
