For thousands of years we have fought wars
We have even fought The Great War ‘to end all wars'
Which, of course, sired a whole lot of other wars through the decades
And we are continuing this ‘great' tradition
With ever increasing gusto
To perpetuate the human misery and killings
Let the wars go on… and on
Because wars are always ‘righteous'
So we annihilate each other quickest
To slaughter the Mother Earth
To leave behind Her skeleton scattered amid the lifeless planet
Let the wars go on…and on
Because wars are always ‘righteous'
Irrespective of whoever is at war
