Let's Be Human Poem by Sandra Feldman

Let's Be Human

Id like to see,
Some Fraternity,
Among the races,
That 'Human' be,
If we are superior, mentally,
'Rational', as we're told, born free,
Then let Us try to get along,
And we will see.
What a much better world,
This will someday be!

Amen to that. (Since Amen translates into SO BE IT the work of creation as already begun...)

If a person has the capacity to give his unconditional love to another species (dog) , how can he deny it to any human?

Well-expressed poem. It seems like such a small percentage of the population- -those causing mayhem and sowing discord- -yet the harm is disproportionate. One malcontent can cause anguish for hundreds, or thousands, of victims and their survivors. I don't think it's possible to convince everyone to behave, but your poem makes a good try, I enjoyed its simple, straightforward message... It suits the theme, omits the garbage. Nice job.
