Don't grieve over someone
Who has decided to go away
Some persons' Departure
might bring you more comfort
than if they have to stay.

Don't kneel for someone
who wants to leave today
after he vowed he might stay.

To say a prayer on the dead
does not contain prostration,
or bowing or even a swift sway.

Who is determined to leave you,
regard hem-her dead,
Let him go away
