Last rituals
for any individual
it is farewell or goodbye
and onboard travel for another holy land

the large gathering takes place outside
people voluntarily decide and flock
people hide their emotions yet tear mounts pressure
they weep here and there

the body is covered with new cloths
scented flowers are scattered on the dead body
though words are showered as a gesture
'he spent his entire life happily and future was fully assured' people opined openly

if the deceased person was a social worker
and had worked for the welfare
people may take notice of his work and remember
they will attend his funeral and offer the wreath

'Long live, long live' they will chant the same slogan
'he was not only the kind soul but a wonderful human'
he took care of poor and downtrodden
let an almighty take his care and place him in heaven
