Killing You Softly With Her Song Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Killing You Softly With Her Song

Killing You Softly with Her Song

You among the callous,
Never understood the lyrics nor the fuss about this song

Nor the raw nerve cry of a broken
heart,

Although in your time you boosts of the many,

The stories of the girls, the more of the women,
You casts like straws to the wind.

Vain, concieted, you though they were just for the fools, not your equal,

Till the right girl came along, with her wares of sorcery and the callous vengeance.

Now whenever you hear this songs among the others closes to your heart,

Strumming in pure sorrow for a special girl,

Your are set crying with the girlsinging on the radio.

Killing you softly with her song killing you softly with her words,

Telling your story, youre whole life.
Killing you softly with her song.

That was an unusually beautifully written song, wasn't it? There was an Englishman who put several of my poems to music and it made me wish I could be a songwriter for real! ! ! !

Every time the song is played on the radio i am reminded of karen carpenter which is one of my favorite and greatest singer, i am drawn to her angelic voice along with roberta flack who has version. Thanks for a mutual appreciation and interests with a music fan
