you were meant to fly,
let those tears fall down,
you're so beautiful in that bright blue sky.

Keep that mind wide open,
show them how you feel,
can't no one ever bring you down,
your pride is too big to steal.

Keep that life straight,
don't let them get in your way,
ain't nobody going to change you,
say everything that you need to say.

Keep that heart open,
don't ever let no one go,
it's so hard to find that fire,
burn that passion right into your soul.

Keep your chin up kid,
you are going to go far,
there is no such thing as yesterday,
live for today, don't live for tomorrow.
