Keep Doing It Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

Keep Doing It

Rating: 4.0

Keep Doing It

Man knows how to propose
The Almighty will dispose
Everyone wants a good life, I suppose
Working towards a living with a purpose

The end we wish it is filled with sucrose
Even if the process is devoid of rose
The story may be written in poetic prose
The journey may not that beautiful as a primrose

Some aim for the seat of a provost
Many are targeting the goalpost
This may not be seen on a social media post
Neither is the truth advertised on a signpost

You might have traveled coast to coast
Or live comfortably in the land formally called Gold Coast
Even if every wine you take starts with a toast
And all you dine with is filled with a roast

Keep lightening up your spirit
Keep doing the job digit after digit
Keep hoping for the better in discreet
Never stop your goodness even in secret
