Jenny Poem by Thomas Plotz

Jenny

Went by the square Park, after dark
Almost deserted and forsaken
Only a few souls, here

I was shaken by the day's events
My head burns and tears clouded my eyes
Then I realize, I past my sister Jenny and other's

They got up moved off to the north
Then came back and got on bikes

Jenny began to ride past, I called out
Plenty Loud - JENNY!
Being only 81 feet away from me
Still, near enough to hear me fine, but
Kept on going

At the end of the walk
They turn swiftly and headed back
I moved in their direction

Then just as quickly, maybe 2sec time
Spun about once more, and
Therefore, had gone west

Out of shouting range

I'M sorry to you two
For not seeing this seen, sooner
