Jehovah,

my ink is pregnant;
and it is big in tons of timeful, tiring toss
of an angered heart

your name is a big boom
of brisk heaven business, cool
in riches of clean, white lies
flavoured fruity with mocking miracles
vomiting volumes of stupidities of nairas and dollars

see your name growing everywhere
in mournful myriads of pastors and prophets
springing funny fast, (maybe on fertilized unemployment
or a hell sent knell on your dread spread)
of crude, cruel, crying for mercy congregation numbing names;
springing and spreading cancerous wide
that makes the rain angrily jealous
of the downpour deep of truth's sacred eyes

see their ruining ravage
a crafty callous capture of greediness and vanity
roaming for the bread; not finding the life
which like the stretch and depth of the sea
is fully loaded in the bread of life
to give truthfully, peacefully; in unfettered freedom
see lords and gods of heaven slavery
make mincemeat of heaven they blindly seek and see
make killing cash cows that reek holy outburst and outpour
of my maddening ink in spill

Jehovah,

a hundred hells haunt and hunt
your tender, timeless truth
a million mourns mightily move
in steel suffocation of your eternal joy
but..........
i say BUT..........

your silent screaming outcast voice
stands sturborn still
against their stones strangling your dawn
stands sturborn still
against their stones maiming your morn
stands sturborn still
against their stones assailing your sun
stand sturborn still
against their stones ambushing all

till your greying day grow
that ripe ready return on us all
and your sundown sow
the harvests accrued unto everyone
till then..........
i say till then
my pregnant ink will stillbirth
