It's Raining Poem by Heather Burns

It's Raining

Rating: 4.9

It's raining tear-drops
gently on the sidewalk
of my heart

washing away dreams of
yesterday

puddles forming filling
the meadows
where once we strolled

hand in hand across
fields of flowers

picking daisies counting
petals
slipping a blossom in my
hair

soft winds continue
whispering your name
sweet breezes tantalize
my mind

filling it with thoughts
of you.

Good poem! I too wrote one about rain on a different vein. Read mine - Cicatrix - Adeline

Tear drops are gently falling down from sky to Earth. This is really lovely rain seen ever. Petals are slipping from blossom with continuity of breeze. Brilliant imagery is drawn here...10

'soft winds continue whispering your name sweet breezes tantalize my mind filling it with thoughts of you'. It's so sweet to hear the name of our loved ones pronounced!

Glad you are back Heather you were missing for a little while. Raining tears while cleansing the heart. Lost love brings tears and memories. Very touching.
