Behind the screaming silence,
Behind the dictum, "it's fine'..

Heart pains, lips quake,
Tears soak, thoughts abhor,

Eyes tired, mind fired,
Life is silent, feelings violent,

The scuffle hold on, wherever you turn,

There is no destination where you can run,

Stop begging people to stay,
Let them go!

If you hold on to hurts and pains,
Let them go!

If they can't treat you right,
Let them go!

If they can't see your worth,
Let them go!

Get right or get left,
Think about it and let them go!

You must not let them see,
The ‘you' that is scared to be seen,

You can please someone sometimes,
But you cannot please everyone every time,

Even when you don't know what's it like,
You don't need to say, "it's fine'…
