Inherent Weakness Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Inherent Weakness

Rating: 5.0

It is inherent weakness of human being’
You may feel bad if addressed beggar and liked if called king
You may dislike if called joker
And elated if praised tea totalled and non smoker

In actual life we do all we want to
We care too hoots for and it is equally true
What we try to hide from near relatives and friends?
False pride and honour which is going to bite at the end

My ear bell starts ringing the moment I am ushered
In their beautiful house with welcome and offered
All hospitality at the cost of my downing confidence
Use it later on for their advantage as cover up incidence

I know but fail to grasp that it is just ploy
All friends and even near circle people cleverly employ
Who would not want to hear sweet words in praise?
As it is engraved in mind that finally it may land you in chase

Well, it is all leading to falsehood
People are smart enough to judge your mood
They will make you to believe in their oratory
As you may agree upon and act as signatory

It is all done or deception and known to all
We fail to offer response even if that leads to fall
It is known that it may ditch us from our position
Yet it is agreed only for not aggravating the situation

We are human beings and live in certain bindings
People may advice you earnestly too but with some meddling
It is all accepted as normal happening
We need to close eyes for good beginning

Even if some one cheats we offer no comments
We wish it would not happened but willingly relent
If not do so, then it will invite hurdles on the way
That may push you towards isolation and keep away
