In Autumn Poem by shuvo chakraborty

In Autumn

Welcome ye queen Autumn,
Welcome your dewy touch
Like caressing soft red fingers
Unbutton our summer soaked tired shirts.
The uncommon cold wind of north decent
Like someone too recent within our stout arms
Close to shaven faces with fairy looks
Freezing our burning foreheads by sincere lips.
Thence give ye wake up call
To invite us with open arms
On the cosy bed of grand festivals.
Your morning grin over green field
Couriers million mists to revive the earths lost splendor
Like that spontaneous laugh which used to unnerve
The youthful vigor,
Thou streaming cold with playing merry golds
Makes the mild days full of fun
And build the temple of winters abode
Govern by butterflies and rose.
In night the same temple glows with crecent moon
With sweet rhythm of full flowing brook
Which surpasses all fairest human looks.
No one care your quite departs
As more promising winter overtakes thy heavenly charm
spreading over our laps in twisting posture with amorous jesture,
Baring natures mistress greeneries for seasoned adulthood.
