Impervious Armor. Poem by Marcondes Pereira

Impervious Armor.

When I feel that I can help you, I call arrogance.
When I feel that I may care about you, I raise a stone's wall.
When I feel that I hurt you, I drink inconsequence.
When I feel that I need you, I drive my own fall.
When I feel that I may learn with you, I forget humility.
When I feel that I need to thank you, I spit sobriety.
