Immortal Kindness Poem by Sotirios Skoufis

Immortal Kindness

Good and true ideas
Will make you happy
Free your mind
From passions

Live to love
It is all very well
You're above
Any mind and meaning

Known
Only to yourself
Reject bad thoughts
Illuminate and cultivate

Your consciousness
Keep your mind on the one way
Of Virtue and Truth
Leave this world behind

Light you will find
If you focus your mind
Try always to be kind
Don't act as if you're blind

Have faith
If you want to achieve
Peace of mind and happiness
Seek for desolate places

Without distractions
Be solid
Stay put
Compare yourself

With the worlds best wine
Moving is forbidden
Free your mind
From sensational pleasures

Never surrender
To your unlogical passions
Your mind needs to move logically
Your biggest enemy

Is the confidence
In your proud thoughts
Cultivate the natural powers of your mind
instead of neglecting them

Love nothing earthly
Have your mind In heaven
In heaven resides
Immortal kindness
