I'm not you
I can't seem to breath the perfume
My nails aren't colored in red
My hair isn't dazzled in hairstyles meant to convey confidence
My clothes, just aren't sassy and sweet
My shoes, aren't brand you want
I'm not you
Guess you could tell?
My nails cry for help with every nervous bite I take
My hair long and black that hangs sadly down my back
My clothes, I like that BTS sweatshirt and baggy pants
My shoes, the stars and black thick lines of converse
I'm not you
I think about the world, ageing faster then everyone else
I wonder about things that most teens don't
I could marry school if I could
Yes, I'm nerd people would say
I have thoughts that never come out
I'm not you
Never feel like I fit in in my sisterhood
No, no harm is intended towards the women of this world
We are powerful
Would I be accepted?
