I'm Just A Guy (The Duet) Poem by Richard Jarboe

I'm Just A Guy (The Duet)

I don't know,
I'm just a guy,
I ain't rich,
But I get by,
I pick and choose,
I don't know why,
How could I?
I'm just a guy.

I don't know,
I'm just a gal,
No matter what,
I try to smile,
I'll hang around,
For awhile,
But I don't know,
I'm just a gal.

We don't know,
We're just a pair,
Sometimes we laugh,
Sometimes we care,
To read the news,
Brings despair,
But we don't know,
We're just a pair,
With no phone.
