I'll Rise Poem by Mohammad Muzzammil

I'll Rise

Rating: 5.0

In the face of lies, I'll rise,
Defiant, strong, they can't despise.
My sassiness shakes their gloom,
Oil wells pumping, breaking the room.

Like moons and suns, I'll rise,
Tides of hope within me lies.
Broken, they won't see me fall,
Soulful cries won't weaken my call.

With haughtiness, I rise high,
Gold mines of laughter, my ally.
Words may wound, and eyes may cut,
Hatefulness won't keep me shut.

I dance with diamonds, so sublime,
From history's huts, I'll climb.
Past rooted in pain, I'll shed my disguise,
With resilience and power, I'll forever rise.
