If I Say I Love You Poem by Joshua Adeyemi

If I Say I Love You

If i tell you i love you,
Will you take it as forgeries?
If my emotion is bound by thy facial rule,
Will you call it lie launderies.
No!
I know you won't.
Go!
I myself won't.
I'll rather woo my heart,
Than to from you hear my stats.
But, to be candid,
I'm indestructibly placid.
Fumbling through my heart,
Searching for a word to make a start.
But what if she says no,
Then i'll surely go.
No, she shouldn't go,
No, she won't say no.
Then, give me a word,
Before she leaves for the world.
