Iam Not Just A Body Poem by Padmavathi Rambhakta

Iam Not Just A Body

Rating: 5.0

Iam not a body you want
Iam a continuous flow of compassion
I secretly hide the stones and thorns you throw
into my tummy
I bless you with both my hands

I take many forms
And flow along with you
I submerge your ponds of tears into me

Whenever your tongue dries up
In the thirst of life
I quench your thirst
Like a sweet waterdrop

Stop wandering on my body
For a physical pleasure
Look into my motherhood
You will find your faces like babies

Walk with me holding my little finger
I will breastfeed you in the galaxy

Dont hunt in the structure of my body
To catch the fish of curves

Open your eyes widely
You can find pearls of solace
In the sea of my friendship
A motherly lap of moonlight

When you are hit by sleepless nights
I will sing a nice lullaby like a sister
tapping gently on your eyelids
I will gift you sparkles of sunshine
And a warm dawn

I will dress your wounds with nectar
Inculcate courage in you
I will attach wings of dreams
Show you many new worlds

Iam a transparent crystal
I stand beside you like a big treeshade
Dont break me into pieces
What can you find in the bags of skin
Except the traces of your birthplace

Iam not a body you want
Iam a fragrance
Giving breath to many
Flower gardens like you

Iam a proper personification of womanhood
And hug you heartfully
