How is it that a week ago,
life seemed so certain
Things were right on schedule.
Then life has thrown a curve ball
and it hits YOU!
What do you do? ? ? ?
You have black eyes so that you can’t see straight
Will my vision ever be repaired?
I wonder!

I know that as that ball hit,
it jolted me to the core
Can I put those pieces back together?
It’s a choice
A life choice!
It’s not a feeling or emotion
It’s a decision!
Do I have the courage to make the right ones?
How will I know?
I wonder!

Am I changed forever?
Will love prevail or passion?
I wonder!
