I Stood At Your Grave Poem by DEAN WILLIAM JOHNSTON

I Stood At Your Grave

Rating: 5.0

I stand at your grave and I wrote
Down this song and I went to the river and
cry I don't know how long
I stood at your grave for way too long
And now it time to move on

Sometimes it so hard to move on. Sometimes you don't want to, so afraid of forgetting of what will always remembered. The pain will fade, but never complete go away. Certain dates will become triggers of memories shared. Breakdown all of the sudden in tears. Grief never truly disappears even over years. Excellent inspiring poem.
