I Stand At My Mother's Grave and Weep

Rating: 5.0

I STAND AT MY MOTHER's GRAVE AND WEEP

I stand at my mother's grave and weep
I constantly weep
sans stopping
emotive very sad
why is mankind so bad?
it used to be good
was that only in the woods?
or is that I have reached maturity?

I stand at my mother's grave and weep
I constantly
weep sans stopping
the church is singing
sans stopping
and I constantly weep at your grave my dearest mother
kissing your barre feet
weeping very very deeply
my dearest mother

wishing you were here
Ukraine has so much fear

Nice tribute, Sylvia. My own mother has been gone for more than 60 years and I still miss her.
