I Love A Girl Who Loves Me Not Poem by Rodney Dufault

I Love A Girl Who Loves Me Not

Rating: 5.0

I love a girl who loves me not,
but God knows my persistance.
While she seeks for what she has sought
I will sadly keep my distance.

My love for her was always high,
I thought we'd last forever.
She couldn't fall in love with I,
so now we are not together.

I hope someday we try once more
when she works her whole life out,
but as for now, my heart lies sore,
for she is all that I care about.

No, not all, but close to that
for I believe she is my soul.
Without her I'm alone, in fact
I'm half, with her I'm whole.
