Hues Of Life Poem by Sister Frances

Hues Of Life

Black the ink spill
On the floor
Black the room
With a locked door
Black the heart
That loves no more
The endless black
Of space unexplored

White the ray
Of sunlight bright
White the full moon
Shining bright
White a sign
A dove in flight
The endless power
Of glistening light

Red the blood
That trickles down
Red the tongue
That moves around
Red the hue
Of passion bound
With white and black
It's often found
