How Patient Have You Been, My Sweet Lover Poem by Cristobal Benjumea

How Patient Have You Been, My Sweet Lover

I know the journey has been long
Have you filled the gaps
In this theatre
Have you lived your life according to your wishes
Or do you regret your actions,
Have your steps been unvoluntary, and have you been wisked away by the epoc
Have you decifered every mystery
Have you lived life as you wished
Or has age been dumped on your lap
Goes to show nothing is served on a silver plater
Grab, whatever is out there
And allthough, the shady tree, has many branches
No one can escape the laberinth of walls
And you baby, are the key to the escape rute
