How is the sky
Why it is empty of birds
Why there is no sound from
The clouds as they veer westwards

How is the stream
Why it is empty of water
Why it has stopped humming
And couldn't find its way to the river

How is the peak
Stays dry throughout year
Why snow is not falling over it
Tree across its slope slowly disappear

Is there a message
For people to heed and act
Unless we work to save nature
We are doomed that is the sad fact
