Homework Poem by Sweta Leena Panda

Homework

There's a place on the other
side of the pain
called "Homework in child hood time"
And
It was not much fun.
There was no time for watching
cartoons
There was no time for playing
In the field
There's not even time to eat
any ice cream.
And
The worst part of all is
There was no time to dream

Arithmetic, Science and grammar
Made me headache in my brain
Sometimes I was to trying to escape myself from this pain
And
Wanted to land myself in my dream land
Dream which is purely imaginary
Which never comes true?
Sometimes it's very painful
When you forget to do your homework
And
Beat by your cruel teacher
Who never understand a child's heart?
What we want to do
In child hood days I feel most painful time
Sacrifice all of your loving work
For doing your homework…
