Holiday Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Holiday

A pine tall in a range
is but a reminder of age
when clouds pass close
the world gathered to glow
My visit to such a place
chance with friends and play
mind it was a venture new
that made my life renew
I dangled in the sway
it was an emotional way
light and colours danced in rhythm
for sure a rhyme ringed in cone
leaves welcomed us in warm arms
eyes couldn't hold the open farms
Gullible self shy away in dark
it was a morning with pure heart
